Job Description
Merchandising Associate 1- Atlanta, GA (MER00159)

Reset/Remodel - MerchandisingSpecialist

Starting Wage: $13.00 hour

RGIS currently has positions openfor experienced Merchandising Specialist that would assists in managing largescale remodeling projects and ensuring each project is completed on time andwithin budget. They may also lead smaller scale projects

These projects involve dismantling,assembly and placement of retail fixtures, adjustment of shelves andarrangement and placement of products on the shelves in accordance with CADdrawings and plan-o-grams.

Selected employees must be able towork a flexible schedule which may include night shifts and extended days oftravel (typically 1-10 weeks in market) for the duration of each project. Each project requires the willingness to travel to various store locations andrequires overnight stays for the duration of the project. Travel will besignificant - up to 100% of the job.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in reset/remodel projects
  • Experience in reading from CAD drawings and plan-o-grams
  • Ability to communicate with Store Managers, contractors and crew members through entire reset project
  • Ability to inspect all work completed by contractors, and team members
  • Ability to rapidly and effectively train employees assisting in the project
  • Experience working with hand tools and small electric tools for use in fixture assembly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and proven problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ensure that all team members comply with all safety requirements
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements, bending, stooping and frequent standing and walking in a retail construction environment, and lifting up to 50 lbs. and may require ladder work
  • Must have valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • You must have a valid and active email address and the ability to access the internet
  • Successful completion of Motor Vehicle Record Check will be required

Qualifications

  • Assist crew lead in all projects
  • Manager smaller scale merchandising projects
  • Assist Lead in Supervising
  • Comply with timely completion of all required paperwork, internal and client specific
  • Ensure team members comply with all safety requirements
