We are an established general contractor in Washington, DC serving the residential renovation and addition market. We also handle several requests for handyman services, which we currently respond to with our existing forces.
We are looking to hire an experienced handyman who can dedicate between 20-40 hours per week (depending on the load) to knock out these smaller projects. Most commonly, the requests we receive deal with the following:

General drywall and painting repairs

Finish carpentry (base molding, crown molding, door and window casing, repairing or installing new railings)

Installation or repairs to appliances

Light electrical repairs (installing a new outlet, replacing dimmers, installing a new recessed light, replacing an existing light fixture, etc)

Light plumbing repairs (fixing leaks, installing garbage disposals, installing shower controls, etc)

Repairs to or installing new hardwood flooring
-
Installing new Shelving
-
Installing new kitchen cabinets
-
Repairs to doors and windows (installing new replacement windows and sash packs, installing new weatherstripping)
The qualified candidate should be able to demonstrate a minimum of 20 years experience with the trades/acitivities listed above. In addition, qualified applicants should also have:
