Lead Carpenter/Project Foreman Job Opening at PositiveSpace, LLC in Washington, DC

We are an established general contractor based in Washington, DC and we are looking to hire an additional Lead Carpenter/Project Foreman to join our team. 

Qualified applicants should demostrate at least 20 years of experience in residential renovations and additions.  This position will be responsible for the following:

• Framing new walls, floors, roofs, partitions
• Installation of high-end doors and windows
• High-end finish carpentry including stain-grade crown molding, hardwood flooring, base molding, casing
• Installation of high-end cabinetry
• Installation of wood and fiber-composite siding
• Light electrical
• Light plumbing
• Other trades as necessary
• Direct and supervise the daily activities of 2-3 assistants
• Direct and coordinate with subcontractors to successfully complete their work
• Collect and organize information from the field and submit to project managers on a timely basis
• Generally ensure that daily operations proceed in accordance with quality standards and schedule requirements

Qualified Applicants should also have:

• Experience with computers
• Daily access to email and internet
• Clean driving record
• Own, reliable transportation
• Own tools is a plus
