Posting Description |
|
Purpose: To oversee and identify use of electronic media, including web / intranet based technologies to facilitate employee engagement through communication. Improves the performance and usability of the Intranet Web site as well as users' experience; Ensures Navy Federal's Intranet Web site is effectively integrated with other relevant electronic communication applications; Ensures that changes to products, services and business objectives/initiatives are accurately implemented and updated on the site in a timely manner; Optimizes Navy Federal's internal electronic communications by managing and maintaining the Intranet Web site; Maintains Navy Federal's Intranet at the forefront of available technology; Performs supervisory duties; Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities - Demonstrated ability to supervise - Experience in developing and/or managing a corporate intranet and/or internet site - Thorough knowledge of and experience with PC and web/internet-based technologies such as HTML, CGI scripting, TCP/IP Networking, web content management software, editing and authoring tools, and development languages. Familiarity with WebSphere Portal and WebSphere Web Content Manager a plus. - Working knowledge of Web design techniques and trends - Project management experience - Superior interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills including the ability to present findings and conclusions and the ability to work with all levels of management and external organizations - Skill in working independently and handling multiple priorities - Excellent proofreading ability - Ability to exercise initiative, good judgment and make sound decisions - Excellent research, analytical, planning and problem-solving skills. Ability to present and act on findings - Ability to train employees on updating Web site
Additional Skills, Knowledge & Abilities - College degree in a related field such as: information technology, management, finance, business administration or engineering - Knowledge of the financial services environment and Navy Federal's functions, policies and procedures
