General Description of the Job

As a full-time member of the Nursing faculty, this position involves teaching or facilitating the teaching of Application Classes for all nursing courses in both the Day and Evening-Weekend Options.

In addition, this position has primary responsibility to facilitate academic and clinical tutoring and mentoring for students enrolled in the clinical component of the Associate Degree and Practical Nursing Certificate programs.

The individual in this position will collaborate with all nursing faculty teaching in the didactic and clinical setting to establish, provide and or facilitate tutoring and mentoring needs for all students.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree with a major in Nursing required.

Two years recent experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing required; previous experience within the last four years preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching experience in the college classroom or clinical setting.

Work Hours:

35 hours per week.
