| Position Summary: |
| Decontaminates instruments in a safe and appropriate manner. Assembles instrumentation accurately and efficiently. Assures sterility of all processed items. Manages instrument inventory and assures timely distribution of instruments to all customers. Assumes leadership role within the department. |

| Requirements: |
Two years Sterile processing experience required. Coursework in medical terminology, human anatomy, microbiology, infection control, decontamination, disinfection, instrument assembly and packaging, high-level sterilization, biological testing, and inventory management and distribution required. RCST required. Certification from the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (CRCST) preferred. Proficient in verbal and written English with excellent telephone and customer service skills. Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
