Position Description
St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore seeks to hire a Director for Camp St. Vincent, a free summer camp for homeless children in Baltimore City and County.
Responsibilities:
Assumes primary responsibility for the overall management of Camp St. Vincent, including : program development, purchasing equipment and supplies, physical plant maintenance, hiring, training, and supervising staff and volunteers, enrollment of campers, transportation, procurement of outside contractor services, and external contacts with partner agencies, nominators and the general public.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in education/human service preferred. Significant experience dealing with homeless clients; summer camp experience is preferred. Must have exceptional leadership, administrative and organizational skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and computer operations. Applicant should posses a high degree of emotional maturity, integrity and moral character.
Position Details:Seasonal position. Part time off season and full time June 14, 2010-August 20, 2009.
