Description: PTFS, a privately owned, Maryland-based professional library and content management services company is in need of a Proposal/Capture Manager to coordinate and supervise all aspects of proposal operations. We are currently experiencing rapid growth due to market desire for our company's products and services offering. This is initially a temp to perm position.

This individual will support the pursuit and capture of new opportunities and work with senior management in developing and executing the capture and win strategy, and will direct all major proposal activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.

Requirements:

• Should possess a Bachelor's Degree and 10 + years of related experience, with at least five years of managing proposal activities in the Federal Government Contracting arena.
• Will Manage all facets of the proposal process including: creation of compliance matrices; management of proposal schedule ;content creation; writing, editing, and graphics design; management of review and meetings including Pink, Red and Gold teams as appropriate; proposal submission
• Should possess excellent communication and multi-tasking skills in a high-pressured environment, and the ability to integrate technical, management, contracts and pricing resources to ensure complete, compliant submissions.
• Will be responsible for maintaining all proposal assets, version control structure and repositories.
• Will be expected to author proposal sections, and be able to edit, write and review for compliance and style in support of the proposal effort.
• Requires impeccable attention to detail.
• Preferred candidate must have solid understanding of and experience in proposal management and proposal writing methodologies (e.g Shipley method or other).
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to maintain calm in a deadline oriented environment.
• Accustomed to working longs hours and weekends when necessary during peak proposal development periods
