Description:
PTFS, a Maryland-based company providing digital archiving and library solutions, as well as professional services including digitization, library staffing, and integration services, seeks a Program Manager to be involved in all phases of a large federal IT project.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the customer Defense Technical Information Center, DIC and or DOD and will be accountable for all project management functions , including schedule, cost, and customer interface.
- Responsible for software evaluation and scientific technical information, STI and will manage and coordinate with IT, Quality and SME Directors and Academia to ensure results and compliance.
- Communicate with government customer and a large networked community
Qualifications
- 4 year degree in Mathematics,CS, Engineering, IS or equivalent degree
Must possess the following certifications:
- Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)
- Certified Data Processor (CDP)
- Certified Systems Professional (CSP)
- Certified Computer Programmer (CCP)
- Certified Software Business Analyst (CSBA)
- Certified Software Process Engineer (CSPE)
- Certified Quantitative Software Process Engineer (CQSPE)
- Certified Network Engineer (CNE)
Must be familiar with:
- Information library
- Research, information collection, analysis, and dissemination
- DoD Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation RDT&E
- Full life cycle project management and must be conversant on a host of state-of-the-art reports on software engineering topics
The right candidate will combine leadership, public speaking, contact with academic thought leaders, management of staff, and interaction with DoD leadership.
