(003062) - [Director of Student Integrity and Special Projects, Office of Student Affairs, Exempt, Regular, Full-time, Grade G] - The Director of Student Integrity and Special Projects is responsible for managing all the student code of conduct cases, project times, staff and community communications from the department, writing all PeopleSoft 9.0 training documentation and conducting business process analysis to identify current and future streamling processes. The Director will also work with the Commencement Committee in planning and implementing Commencement 2010. Reporting to the Associate Provost & University Registrar, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1. Coordinate the Office of Student Affairs proactive educational efforts, including presentations to campus community and constituencies (students, faculty, and staff); maintain the Office Documentation and Standards Manual; write all training and documentation for PeopleSoft 9.0 and serve as the primary trainer; work with the Associate Provost & University Registrar to promote a community newsletter and update the department; 2. Adjudicate academic and high level nonacademic cases; promote an environment that supports the Honor Code and Student Code of Conduct and encourages ethical decision making; 3. Conduct Business Process Analysis session and document current and future office standards; 4. Coordinate the Office of Student Affairs assessment goals and annual goals; maintain department timeless regarding training and special projects; coordinate social justice/diversity training opportunities for the unit; 5. Serve as the lead coordinator with the Commencement Committee regarding routine Commencement projects and timelines; and 6. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. |

Qualifications: |
|
Requires a Bachelor's degree in communications, student development, higher education or a related field and (3) years experience working a post-secondary education institution. Qualified candidates will have experience in creating business process analysis, student code of conduct cases; writing training manuals; and providing training; and experience working in a multicultural environment. Requires demonstrated record of ethical, fair and participatory leadership; excellent demonstrated interpersonal and problem-solving skills; demonstrated collaborative disposition and the ability to think both critically and strategically; excellent oral and written communication, and organizational skills; capable of prioritizing and managing multiple administrative tasks; demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Project; and a willingness to work some night and a minimal number of weekends. Candidates with a Master's degree in Business Administration as well as student development, higher education, or a related field are preferred.
