| Specific Job Description | Employee will serve as the first point of contact for all hardware problems experienced by team members. Employee will be responsible for coordinating all hardware repairs/replacements. This may include investigating and documenting hardware issues, repairing hardware (circuit boards, cables, and computers) and documenting all repairs. Employee will also participate in the modification and construction of COTS and custom hardware, as well as various types of functional hardware testing. Employee will also help prepare and ship deliverable hardware per contract requirements. Employee will also maintain GFE inventory. Responsibilities include examining circuit boards for malfunctions and replacing parts, modification of COTS parts, and testing . Daily duties will include building prototypes, building custom cables, testing cables, modifying COTS cables, functional testing of systems, checking items in and out of inventory, and prepping deliveries for shipment. Duties may also include delivering parts or picking up parts to/from vendors. |
