Specific Job Description This is a senior Asset Management Group (AMG) position in Farnborough, United Kingdom with direct responsibility for Energy, Environment, Safety and Health (EESH) /Facilities/and Continuity of Operations (COOP) operations. The position supports approximately 300 Information Systems and Global Services (IS&GS) employees located at numerous facilities throughout the United Kingdom. Specific actions include:
- Lead and coordinate overall EESH, Facilities and COOP programs including implementation of a management system. Integrate IS&GS AMG tools and processes.
- Provide EESH coaching/assistance and serve as a technical resource for managers, teams and employees.
- Interpret standards, laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit permits, reports and records to regulatory agencies and Lockheed Martin Corporation.
- Characterize operational risks, prioritize and mitigate risks and insure program compliance through rigorous self assessment.
- Oversee facility planning, office utilization and construction projects.
- Coordinate real estate acquisitions and divestitures with AMG Advanced Planning.
- Ensure procurement and management of all facility infrastructure and building service regiments for customer success, program performance and business continuity
Develop and execute operating and capital budgets.
- Integrate IS&GS Long Range Plan and Product Line initiatives into AMG UK strategy.
- Provide leadership to EESH/Facility Operations & COOP staff and UK functions.
- Represents the organization as the prime point of contact for Facilities/EESH/COOP issues and interacts frequently with senior management on matters requiring coordination between Lockheed Martin organizations. Coordinates with and supports Corporate EESH staff in the United Kingdom. Some travel will be required.

Finds, evaluates, and prepares contracts for properly licensed hazardous and radioactive waste disposal firms and monitors waste handling. Organizes and equips spill-control teams. Writes and updates environmental and spill-control manuals and procedures. Prepares environmental impact statements and applies for all new permits and renewals. Provides input to federal and state regulators through trade associations and industry groups for the writing and revision of regulations.
