Treasury Management Product Director – Revenue Management
Summary:
Responsible for independently setting goals and strategies to achieve a competitive advantage and forecasting future needs. The manager oversees the development and on-going maintenance (i.e. enhancements and modifications) of all assigned products and services to maintain or enhance competitive positions. The responsibilities include planning, directing, organizing, controlling and implementing the products and services commensurate with the objective of the business unit and Capital One.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for product management aspects of the bank’s Account Analysis system as well as creating and executing strategies to track and maximize Treasury Management revenue.
Responsible for identifying and achieving financial goals for product lines and understanding market pricing dynamics.
Measure product results understand product dynamics, and ensure highest product quality.
Identify and target potential customers and/or markets for products.
Influence sales force regarding strategies, markets and customers.
Develop, implement and execute marketing plans and strategies.
Recommend new products or enhancements as changes are warranted or justified.
Develop long-term business plans for assigned product lines.
Evaluate business plans based on strategic goals.
Develop long-term goals for related product lines.
Communicate strategic plans.
Understand customer business requirements.
Participate in industry conferences and seminars; keep abreast of changes, trends, etc. in the marketplace.
Conduct market research by investigating product enhancements by the competition by networking with peers at other institutions.
Anticipate product enhancements by competition.
Manage formal market research.
Provide assistance to operations and systems on production and client support issues.
Promote assigned products and services to obtain support for cross-selling efforts.
Promote/market products throughout the bank.
Develop and enhance professional rapport with all areas of the bank.
Basic Qualifications:
College degree in Marketing, Finance, or Management required. Masters in Business Administration preferred.
4 years of product management experience, or 6 years experience in bank operations or 7 years of treasury/cash management industry related experience either within a Corporate Treasury or Non-credit services product management.
Individual must be a proven leader, motivator, and effective decision maker enhanced by creativity and cognitive risk taking. Moreover, the Product Director must be able to establish and maintain a high level of credibility with Executive Management.
Individual must have a thorough knowledge of payments and collections systems concepts and processed.
Preferred Qualifications:
College degree in Marketing, Finance, or Management. Masters in Business Administration preferred.
Direct product management experience with Revenue Management or with Account Analysis systems.
Certified Treasury Professional designation
Accredited ACH Professional designation
