PURPOSE: To optimize the performance of business operations (money, materials and people) by analyzing current, and predicting future performance by: Defining, analyzing and studying financial and operational issues and data; Applying analytical techniques to solve operational issues; Synethsizing results of analyses, developing and making recommendations and presenting results; Participating in and/or faciliating the implementation of products, services,a nd operational changes; Managing projects for a department and/or business unit(s); and Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Level I Experience participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects. Experience and solid knowledge of data querying, reporting, and analysis. Experience interpreting and synthesizing large amounts of information. Demonstrated communication skills including preparing and presenting results, findings and alternatives and ability to respond to management concerns.
Level II Bachelors Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Experience participating in, and managing, cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects. Strong knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including statistical methods and modeling. Experience identifying relevant analytical problems and determining appropriate diagnostic methods to find results. Communication skills including preparing and presenting results, findings and alternatives and quickly responding to management concerns and decisions.
Level III Bachelors Degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Demonstrated experience managing large cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and complex projects. Highly refined skill gained from multiple years of interpreting advanced statistical analysis and modeling tools. In-depth knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including sophisticated statistical methods and modeling. Demonstrated experience identifying relevant analytical problems, determining appropriate diagnostic methods, and solving unique and complex issues/problems. Highly developed communication skills including preparing and presenting results, findings and alternatives, and influencing management decision making.
Level IV Advanced degree in a related field, or the equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Extensive experience in and knowledge of depository institution financial management. Extensive experience managing cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects of the highest complexity. Advanced knowledge of and proficiency in data querying, reporting, forecasting, analysis and operations research, including the most advanced statistical methods and modeling. Proficiency in the application of statistical methods, mathematical techniques, and related analytical tools including forecasting and cost-benefit analysis. Extensive experience managing projects which involve organization, holding strategy and status meetings, planning and directing the work of participants. Skill in interpreting regulations, instructions, procedures and policies. Highly developed communication skills including preparing and presenting results, findings and alternatives and influencing management decision making based on the best available data.
Desired Thorough knowledge of, and extensive experience with, credit union or retail banking operations. |
