Posting Description |
|
Purpose: To provide telephone financial counseling and insurance and investment assistance to members while registered by Navy Federal Financial Group (NFFG) or incumbent broker/dealer, and life insurance products while appointed by Navy Federal Financial Group Insurance Agency or incumbent insurance company. To perform servicing functions related to brokerage and insurance services.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Trainee: * Administrative experience to include reviewing documents, maintaining files, receiving/ responding to written and telephone communications * Experience within the financial services industry in a position with customer interaction * Good analytical, decision-making, problem-solving and organization skills * Good interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills * NASD Series 6 or 7, and NASAA Series 65 or 66 (and NASAA series 63 in states where required) registration and Life & Health Insurance License to be obtained within 120 days * Proficiency in the to use of PCs and spreadsheet, database, work processing applications, and financial analysis software tools
Target: * Successfully completing Contact Center Financial Services Representative training * Meet the certification requirements for the grade level (e.g., Demonstrated analytical, decision- making, problem-solving and organization skills through training class performance, written test, and desk audit) * NASD Series 6 or 7, and NASAA Series 65 or 66 (and NASAA series 63 in states where required) registration and Life & Health Insurance License * Knowledge and understanding of industry related laws and government regulations * Working knowledge of investment and insurance products
Desired: * Experience in business development * Working knowledge of investment and insurance products * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Management or related discipline or related professional experience * Knowledge of Navy Federal/NFFG organization, programs, policies and procedures |
