Position Description
Civil Procurement Engineer for Virginia Office
Minimum Qualifications:
BS Civil Engineering
5+ Years of purchasing experience in related industry
Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures (specification review, bids, quotes & submittals)
Effective oral/written communication, negotiation and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Access
Duties include:
Evaluation of technical specifications and project requirements to ensure compliance
Development of supplier work statements
Solicitation of proposals and negotiation with vendors
Coordination with site personnel and logistics
Managing supplier contract performance and scheduling
