SABiosciences Corporation, a privately held biotechnology company that develops and markets a broad range of innovative pathway focused research tools, is currently seeking a Product Content Developer to be based out of our Frederick, Maryland office. This is a unique opportunity to be a key part of one of the fastest growing companies in the industry today.

The Product Content Developer will assist in application-focused product development for real-time PCR, RNA Interference, cell-based, epigenetic, and other technology platforms and is responsible for performing the following duties:

• Research biological literature and browse publically accessible and internal proprietary bioinformatic databases to collect gene and/or protein content of interest to any one of a number of diverse areas of biological and medical research.

• Develop application-focused gene or protein content for specific areas of biological research as directed.

• Analyze data produced from a wide variety of laboratory techniques, especially gene / protein expression profiling, DNA methylation analyses, and chromatin immunoprecipitation.

• Analyze data using computer technology and applications, and/or statistical analysis.

• Research biological literature.

• Browse publically accessible and internal proprietary bioinformatic databases.

• Follow SOP for delivery of product content to Production and Marketing Departments.

• May also write advertisement copyright to assist in marketing the developed content.

• Other duties as assigned.

Ph.D. in a Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or other related biological field plus 2-3 years of related postdoc research experience. Must demonstrate a broad understanding of biological areas of research and technology platforms, specifically in the areas of genomics, epigenomics, and/or proteomics.
