Position Description
The individual in this position is responsible for oversight and maintenance of the physical condition of the entire property. This person is responsible for ensuring thorough and timely unit turnovers, completing full site inspections, communication with the management office staff on vendor/contractor schedules, timely resident maintenance issue resolution, and long-term capital improvement projects. This individual prepares maintenance-related paperwork, oversees the completion of all work performed by the property maintenance staff, and engages use of outside contractors as needed in accordance with organizational policy and procedure. This individual may also assist the Property Manager in performing his/her duties. The individual in this position must have his/her own tools, reliable transportation, and be available on a rotating 24/7 on-call basis. The person in this position should be able to live on-site when required.
This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of residential facilities maintenance experience and at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Proof of universal HVAC certification, valid driver's license and clean driving record required at time of hire.
