JOB SUMMARY: The Technical Recruiter will manage the full scope of the recruiting process. Source, conduct pre-screen interviews and refers qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration. The ideal candidate will participate in the offer and on-boarding processes. This role consistently uses an applicant tracking system and provides reporting data. The selected candidate may be asked to participate in career/job fairs as needed. The Recruiter will establish and maintain relationships with various external recruiting resource partners as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Responsible for the full scope of recruiting activities, from creative sourcing through hire/orientation - Interfaces with hiring managers to create job requisitions - Sources candidates using external resources and job postings - Coordinates interview scheduling for hiring teams - Conducts reference and background checks
REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast paced, result-oriented environment - Knowledge of Taleo or similar applicant tracking system - Proficiency in MS Office, web-based search engines, and electronic recruiting tools - Exceptional oral/written communication, interpersonal and follow-through skills, attention to detail, and ability to balance multiple priorities - Ability to interact effectively with all levels of candidates, employees and management
Experience: - At least 3 years of full life cycle recruiting experience, preferably with a government contractor or IT staffing company
