Position Description


The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Leads business forecasting effort for Recoveries (~$1.4Billion Revenue per year); Responsibilities include:
o Own business side of the forecasting process
o Accountable for modeling expected liquidation performance for the Recoveries department
o Understand and forecast expected macro-economic impacts on expected performance
o Reinvent current methodology to get improved visibility into impact of mix issues
o Business Lead point of contact to Credit Risk Management Loss Forecasting team and Finance
o Directly engage recoveries senior management team (VP & MVP level) on a quarterly basis to finalize forecast
o Monitor and analyze the variance of actual vs. forecast on a monthly basis and present findings and suggestions to the broader team
o Lead and manage a team of up to 2 analysts
· Leads analytical work stream for inventory management
o Leads customer flow/inventory management metrics design and reporting
o Takes thought leadership in developing new ways to create value through flow management
o Owns the innovation and improvement of volume estimation and inventory reporting
o Leads COAF consolidation into Card recoveries process

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field (e.g. business, math, economics, finance, statistics, science, and engineering)
• 2 Years experience in Analysis
• 1 Year experience in Financial services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering
• PMP, CFA, CPA, BPM, LEAN, Six Sigma
• 5 Years experience in Analysis
• 2 Years experience in Financial services
