| Job Description: CLIENT ACCOUNT SPECIALIST Dickstein Shapiro LLP, a large, prestigious law firm is currently seeking a Client Account Specialist to work within the Accounting department. This position is responsible for handling client collection matters via phone and e-mail, documenting transactions in the ARCS system, responding to internal and external Accounts Receivable (AR) inquiries, trouble shooting client account obstacles, and working harmoniously with a coordinated team. This position requires an assertive, intuitive, professional with a positive attitude. Successful employees will enjoy interfacing with many different types of people and be a motivated self starter. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being a part of the financial success of an organization through their role in the financial asset recovery process; and is looking for a career in the accounting and finance field. Qualifications include: At least 2 years of prior client accounts and/or AR experience (preferably in a Law Firm environment); some college course work preferred; strong mathematical skills; and computer capabilities including Word, Excel and Outlook. (Experience with ARCS Collections System and Elite Billing System is a plus.) Individuals must also have the ability to analyze data; communicate confidently and accurately in both oral and written form; and provide excellent customer service. Prioritization, organizational skills and the ability to be attentive to the details is a must.
