Position Description
MAJOR DUTIES:
As a Civil Rights Specialist in the Office of Small Business
and Civil Rights, you will assist in the overall implementation of
the agency's Outreach and Compliance Coordination Programs (OCCP)
providing authoritative advice, recommendations and actions. The
specialists assist with ensuring compliance and enforcement of
applicable civil rights statues and NRC regulations so that no person
is excluded from participation in, denied benefits of, or subjected
to discrimination under NRC conducted and financially assisted
programs and activities. Specialists also assist with implementing
OCCP's ten subprograms to include but not limited to: Minority
Serving Institutions (MSIs), Limited English Proficiency (LEP)
Program, Age, Disability, etc.
