Position Description
Instructor shall be responsible for:
1. Instruction in the following courses: Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Machine Design, CNC, Hydaulics and Pneumatics, CAD I, CAD II, and CAD III.
2. Recruiting students into the MET and MET/CAD programs
3. Facilitating articulation of MET courses with secondary education and bachelor degree level education
4. Facilitating two MET advisory meetings in an academic year
5. Maintain a close association with local industry to create a direct pipeline of students into industry.
6. Providing guidance for MET internship experiences
7. Assist with the development of HCC’s new energy tech curriculum
8. Advising MET students
9. Continually maintain professional development in MET.
Education and Experience – Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, with experience in CAD. Masters preferred.
