| Specific Job Description | Please note: This is a Temporary/ Call-in position to support the customer when the current driver is in training or not available. Issue and deliver property to supported customers. Shall provide property transportation services to include returns to depots, deliveries to off-post customers, deliveries to other storage sites, and redistribution. Shall package, mark, tag, and over-pack equipment in containers suitable for issue/shipment. Annotate documents required for audit trail and document accountability. Transfer medical supplies and materials to other installations or hospitals as directed. Transport and turn-in unserviceable HM, and empty HM containers to the WRAMC HM Collection Point. Transport and turn-in recyclable alcohol and xylene contained in the original or clean containers to the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) Recycle Facility. Other duties as assigned. Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies. Will use existing documentation including due-in records, purchase order numbers, and requisition numbers to reference information needed to identify incoming property and establish proper nomenclature for entry into DMLSS and to identify the proper end user. Coordinating deliveries with supported customers requires care in scheduling, since approximately 600 deliveries are conducted per year, and facilities range in one-way distance from 0.2 miles to 45 miles. Will warehouse property pending issue and disposition. Pickup and delivery. Other duties as assigned. Annotate documents required for audit trail and document accountability.
