Our services cover education, prevention, and treatment of illness, injury and other sickness. maryland General Hospital is currently looking for an Emergency Department Manager. The Clinical Manager is the first line manager for a specified patient careunit s . The Clinical Manager has 24 hour accountability and responsibility for the overall operation of the patient care unit s . The Support Services Manager supervises the Staffing Coordinator, Contractual Coordinator, Admissions Nurse, and the internal and external agency personnel. He/She is responsible for annually meeting budgetary goals, performance goals, patient safety goals, and other goals set by the organization. He/She is also responsibile for periodic reviews and evaluations of the internal and external agency personnel. Masters prepared candidates highly desirable. Position Requirements: * 3 years experience in acute care facility * At least 1 year experience in a clinical specialty area * At least 2 years management experience in designated area is desired * Licensed Registered Nurse * Master Degree preferred Maryland General Hospital offers competitive compensation, full healthcare benefits, 403 b , college reimbursement as well as paid vacation, sick, personal time and 7 holidays. |
