Certified Medicine Aide

Forest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, is now seeking caring individuals for Certified Medicine Aide positions - ALL SHIFTS as well as WEEKENDS ONLY (every weekend Sat. 7am-11pm & Sun. 7 am-11 pm). 

  Requirements:
Current Maryland Board of Nursing certification as a GNA/CMA (Please note Med Techs are not accepted).

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
• Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
• Treat all employees, residents, and visitors with respect and dignity.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Must provide documentation of such certification upon application for the position.
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the work place.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
