The opportunity to secure the nation on highly visible efforts supporting national security through systems engineering.
Position Requirements:
The Senior Systems Engineer must have substantial experience with the following:

  • CONOP development
  • Requirements definition and allocation
  • System architecture and allocation to systems and subsystems
  • Process definition
  • SIGINT
  • Data flow definition
  • Command and Control
Additionally, the Senior Systems Engineer should have some program management experience and experience working with multiple organizations.
The position also requires:

  • A minimum of five years systems engineering experience with SIGINT systems.
  • Within the last ten years, a minimum of five years development and integration experience in SIGINT systems.
  • Within the last five years, a minimum of three of the specializations listed below, one of which must be Systems Engineering:

    • TDM/PCM Multiplexing/Modulation System
    • Cellular/ Personal Communications System
    • Signal Analysis
    • Systems Engineering
    • Modern Telecommunications System and Network
    • Telephony Switching System
    • Operating Systems


  • Within the last five years, a minimum of three years experience on customer-specified systems.
  • Within the last four years, a minimum of three years experience with the functionality and interprocessing of packet- and circuit-based HW & SW solutions.
  • A minimum of eight years experience performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems. This experience should also include definition of requirements and allocation of functions, conduction of systems requirements reviews, development of Concept of Operations (CONOPs) and interfacing standards, definition of architecture, technical/non-technical assessments, and end-to-end flow analysis.
  • A minimum of four years experience in a leadership position providing technical supervision to other engineering personnel; solving varied technical/scientific problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule.
  • Experience integrating, installing, configuring, changing, and optimizing HW & SW solutions into an overall system architecture.
  • Experience loading and configuring the software on the appropriate hardware including the specific equipment, local controller, and remote controller.
  • Experience integrating processors and their HW and SW into an overall system architecture.
  • Working knowledge of Linux/Windows/Solaris OS and scripting capabilities
