Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer will serve as the software team lead for the development of a globally distributed, real-time, Web 2.0 thin client web application.

Responsibilities

managing and directing the software lifecycle from concept to completion based upon client requirements

providing direction to external developers who are contributing to or interfacing with the web application

documenting software architecture

implementation requirements and interface control documents.

Skills & Experience

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience at a senior level. (Six years of general experience is considered equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree.)

The candidate must have extensive experience with Java, Javascript, Web 2.0, Ajax, JSON, RESTful Services, Design Patterns,and XML.

The candidate should have some experience with HTML, CSS, Ext, JQuery, Prototype, YUI, Dojo, Oracle 10g, PL/SQL, MySql.

The candidate should be familiar with SCRUM, Agile Development, Flex, Air, and Silverlight.

Also have some knowledge on the Open source projects of Hibernate, Struts, Shindig, jMaki, and Jetty.
