We have an immediate opening for a Requirements Analyst - ISE Stuttgart in our Stuttgart, Germany office. This position requires relocation to Stuttgart with occasional travel to existing site facilities throughout Europe. This is a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding position while living abroad in Europe, with extensive opportunities. Required Skills

As the Lead for Requirements Analysis and Verification, the Requirements Analyst ensures requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable.

Job responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements in support of system enhancements and maintenance using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, business analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.
  • Interview individuals and groups about their needs, asking the right questions to surface essential requirements information.
  • Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and develop solution ideas from requirements.
  • Model requirements using various engineering techniques and models
  • Write requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely.
  • Prioritize requirements to meet customer specifications and to enhance software development.
  • Establish change control processes and tools to manage changes to the baseline requirements.
  • Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project.
  • Control requirement-creep attributable to missed requirements and leakage of unofficial requirements into the project.
  • Verify that all requirements have been fulfilled to customer satisfaction.
Required Experience

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligiblity for top-level Government Security Clearance
  • BS/MS Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • 2+ years experience in managing requirements
  • Knowledge of Requirements Management tools such as Doors or RequisitePro
  • Knowledge of requirements and related engineering standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Professional etiquette and ability to interact with technicians, professionals, and executives in both industry and government
  • Punctuality and consistent ability to meet deliverable deadlines
  • Ability to work in high-velocity environments while maintaining attention to detail, work and workmanship quality, and professionalism
  • Ability to work alone in areas of core competencies with minimal guidance
  • Ability to work well in team environments of varying composition, personalities, roles, and responsibilities
  • Current awareness of industry trends and technologies in relevant areas of subject matter expertise
  • Willingness to share information and to train and mentor peers and subordinates
