The Clinical Leader functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager and is a recognized leader in the assigned department. Assumes accountability for the process and outcome of care for patients while being responsible for assessing the health care needs of individuals or groups and for the implementation and evaluation of a formulated plan of care. Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, and functions as advisor, resource, preceptor and leader for other members of the patient care team.

Requirements: The clinical leader position requires 18 months experience within the specialty area/discipline as well as a Maryland RN license and CPR Certification. Excellent customer service skills required. Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field; Accredited School of Nursing. 2 Years experience in specialty area; 1-3 years experience; Basic computer skills. Proficiency in Orthopedics. Responsible for services including education, equipment and supplies.
