Specific Job Description Responsible to the Program Manager and customer for managing customer conferencing program and food service supporting conferences and base populace. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
* Coordinates and assists in Site visits
* Works with food service department to manage cost control in food & beverage and to develop and maintain profitable menus for conferencing business.
* Development of a sufficient prospect inventory and maintain a tracking system, to ensure on-going contact with existing client base and development of new clients. External and internal markets may encompass seminars, training, meeting, retreats, receptions, formal dinners, luncheons, Holiday Parties and other events.
* Assisting and guiding Conference Coordinators in selling all functions. This includes meeting with the clients to determine needs, meeting those needs and exceeding their expectations through detailed communication with both client and support staff from prospecting to execution of the event.
* Conduct daily event meetings to establish communication and relationships with department heads. Participates in bi-monthly Program Manager Review meetings by presenting updated conferencing information to the customer and other managers.
* Provided accurate forecasting and financial end of the month reports of all events to properly execute the Training Center’s business plan.
* Obtain feedback from conference attendees and group’s point of contact to ensure satisfaction. Effectively utilize Survey report database to communicate client issues.
* Adhere to all of the various written mandatory standards of operations, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions, etc., all of which go to make up the essential functions of the job.

Standard Job Description Manages the planning and organizing of internal and external business related functions, symposiums, conferences, program events, banquets, and VIP briefings. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manages the development of on-site and off-site plans and budgets. Directs the investigation, coordination, arrangements and contracts for major hotel accommodations and services, charter air and ground transportation, communications and facilities support, client and guest entertainment, passport and VISA clearances, program functions, and similar activities to support company marketing and customer relations. Oversees the direction of multiple service contractors and subcontractors orchestrating large scale events supporting highest level company executives, international dignitaries and government officials.

Typical Minimums Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
