Position/Internship Description
PublicSquare.net is an independent, nonpartisan magazine featuring intelligent, thoughtful discussion of important topics in public life. We currently have an unpaid internship opening for a Development Assistant. This position will be responsible for:
* researching foundations that might be interested in granting to PublicSquare.net either general funds or funds for specific projects,
* preparing funding proposals to said foundations,
* following up on proposals.
Qualified applicants will have:
* excellent research skills,
* interest in nonprofit development and/or grantwriting,
* good oral and written communication skills.
