WHO WE ARE

Hallmark's Consumer Experience (CX) Marketing Technology & Operations Team runs point on direct marketing campaign operations and is also responsible for planning and oversight of the technology roadmap for systems used across Hallmark's Consumer Experience ecosystem - spanning Marketing, Creative, Data Insights & Analytics and Consumer Care functions.

WHAT YOUR ROLE ENTAILS AND HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

The Associate Marketing Manager - Email is responsible for the day-to-day execution of email, SMS and app push notification marketing campaigns. Additionally, this individual will partner closely with marketing, creative and UX teams to oversee the Email Design System, leveraging component-based design principles that span digital channels. As new content component needs arise, the Email Associate Marketing Manager will create new content components using HTML/CSS and ensure those components work well across various email clients. The Email Associate Marketing Manager will stay current on email, SMS and app notification marketing best practices and apply them to our campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team to optimize business revenue & engagement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of professional work experience
  • Experience with HTML/CSS for responsive-designed emails and experience in email coding best practices/optimization across multiple email clients

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Your resume and application will stand out if you have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience coding, developing, and setting up complex email campaigns with dynamic content and enhanced features within platforms such as Sailthru, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Movable Ink, or other comparable email/SMS deployment platforms
  • Experience using an Email Design System leveraging component-based design principles.
  • Proven experience in paid subscription marketing, with a track record of driving membership growth and retention.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • Experience working with CRM targeting tools and / or CDP platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and exemplary attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve/troubleshoot operational or business issues

  • This is a progression role and will be filled at the level that is aligned with the final selected candidates' skills and experience.
  • This position is hybrid, working onsite headquarters in Kansas City, MO once a week and as needed for events and meetings.
