It is anticipated that an incumbent in this role will work onsite 100% of the time and will have a dedicated workspace. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.

Summary of the Job:

Post Closing Shipping Specialist

*Scan and attach closing documents within loan origination system.
*Ensure timely delivery of collateral documents and file to the purchasing investor.
*Working within an investor stacking order, ship closed loan files to HFA Authorities and Master Servicers.
*Assist in monitoring the Loan Delivery Inbox.
*Log and ship collateral to investors. Includes preparing allonges.
*Register Loans as needed.
*Mail out purchase advice.
*Gather documents needed for QC requests from investors.
*Request and collect reimbursements on grant loans.

About This Role:

Perform general post-closing functions, as needed.

* Review and Scan closed loan packages to ensure that documents are correctly signed and properly executed to meet investor and industry requirements.

* Correcting errors found during the review process.

* Review and check in closed loan packaged and trailing documents (final title policy and Deed of Trust/Mortgage).

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to identify and recommend objective solutions to problems.
  • Ability to present information and reporting in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task while adhering to multiple timetables of completion.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Maintain production and quality per management guidelines.
  • Physical Requirements: Lifting 25lbs, Standing 25%, Sitting 75%

Location and Hours

  • Location: First National Bank Tower in Downtown Omaha
  • Full-Time (40 hours)
  • Onsite; Possible hybrid option
