The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience managing internal and external stakeholder communications strategy and execution for large projects and programs. The candidate will play a significant role in building senior-level client relationships, identifying agency needs, and developing new business.


Job Responsibilities:

Candidate will support STV key client relationships and assist with the day-to-day activities to support STV clients in the procurement of vehicle fleets including:

  • Lead strategic pursuits and identify business development opportunities to enhance company growth.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal resources and external resources involved in project tasks.
  • Identify top-tier talent to expand our team of experts.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, showcasing our leadership and fostering valuable relationships.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to accelerate STV at the forefront of the industry.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead the expansion into new areas, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on collaboration with clients and other stakeholders outside of technical engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of passenger rail vehicles and/or bus vehicles.
  • Understanding of systems and maintenance facilities is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Capable of effectively navigating complex negotiations and fostering stakeholder relationships.
  • Degree in business administration, Engineering, Transportation Management, or related field.
  • Travel requirements can range from 25% to 50%

Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a business unit, including strategic planning, team building, and market expansion.
  • Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in transportation, project management, and business strategy within the passenger bus and rail industries.

Compensation Range:

$186,449.00 - $248,599.00
