JOB TITLE: Marketing & Communications Coordinator - Remote Opportunity

As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Surgery Partners, you will play a vital role in supporting the marketing, communication, and digital initiatives across the company. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the coordination and execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring that all communication efforts align with our brand, meet regulatory requirements, effectively reaches, and authentically speaks to our target audience. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of marketing and communication skills, such as writing, graphic design, social media, and digital marketing. Responsibilities:

  1. Project Coordination: Collaborate with cross-department team members to plan, develop, and execute various marketing projects and campaigns. Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful completion of tasks.
  2. Content Creation and Management: Support the development and management of content across multiple channels, including websites, print materials, social media, and email campaigns. Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with our brand guidelines and healthcare regulations.
  3. Digital Marketing Support: Assist in the implementation and management of digital marketing strategies, including websites, SEO, social media, reputation management, and email marketing campaigns. Monitor analytics and generate reports to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
  4. Communication Support: Aid in the creation and distribution of internal and external communications materials, such as newsletters, press releases, social media, presentations, and other relevant documents. Maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all communication channels.
  5. Production Design: Create and modify a variety of print and digital designs that adhere to brand guidelines and existing template structure. Assist in the administration of the company brand-on-demand platform.
  6. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating industry and community impact events, conferences, and webinars. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of events, including logistics, promotional materials, and attendee registrations.
  7. Reputation Management: Monitor, maintain, and improve online reputation to increase positive sentiment across business listings, social media, and review sites.
  8. Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing initiatives. Coordinate vendor contracts, invoices, and payments as necessary.
  9. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA guidelines and other relevant industry standards. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review marketing materials and maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex healthcare information to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing strategies and tools, including website management, social media platforms, email marketing, and analytics.
  • Comprehensive content development skills, including planning, research, writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy, consistency and quality across all marketing and communication materials.
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing platforms and tools such as email marketing, analytics, SEO project management, CRM and design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc..) is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across different departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven marketing decisions.
