Segra is searching for a dynamic and experienced Vendor Billing Analyst to work in a remote capacity.

Role Overview:

The Vendor Billing Analyst will analyze access and other related invoices from internal and external vendors for Segra's ILECs, CLECs, Network, and Internet divisions. Purpose is to ensure accurate billing from the vendor(s) and to determine the proper expense allocation. Accurate billing is determined by auditing rates, billing elements, in-service and disconnect dates, and circuit validity. Vendor Billing Analyst will verify that leased local loops and directory for customers (TDM, Ethernet Waves, IP, Collo, Dark Fiber etc.) are being billed to the customer. Vendor Billing Analyst will also support Accounting with financial analysis, the Provisioning department with network cost analysis and access planning, Customer Care with customer billing issues, and Vendor Management as it relates cost savings and vendor relations.

Required Qualifications:

• If a recent college graduate without professional work experience, you must have a bachelor's degree with a strong knowledge of Excel.
• If you do not possess a bachelor's degree, you must have prior professional experience with expense billing, access ordering, or a similar function, ideally in the Telecommunications industry.
• Must have a strong knowledge of Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three to five years telecommunications experience.
• Accounting and financial experience is preferred but not required.
• Strongly preferred to have competency in Microsoft Word.
• strong attention to detail is a priority.
• The ability to work well with other groups and as part of a team.
