CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Traffic Project Manager III to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Traffic ITS Team at a client site in Miami, FL.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's Traffic and ITS team provides planning, analysis, modeling, and design development to help traffic run smoothly and safely in some of the largest metros in the US. Our team of traffic engineers, transportation planners, and technical staff provides a comprehensive breadth of knowledge and experience in all facets of modal mobility, accessibility, safety, technology, and deployment. From roadside sign inventories and safety audits to the latest intelligent transportation system (ITS) innovations and applications, our professionals are adept at managing the entire design development and implementation process.

At CHA, the Traffic Project Manager III works diligently to complete projects within the scope, budget, and schedule. This key role is responsible for managing the overall client relationship including any technical, financial, or logistical issues that may arise. Our Project Managers are skilled collaborators who are experts at problem solving and adapting and staying calm under pressure. The professional in this role sells and develops work with specific clients, ultimately leading to a "seller/doer" dual role. By understanding our client's challenges, building partnerships with them, and providing creative solutions to those challenges, the Traffic Project Manager III will not only develop existing clients but also establish new ones.

Moreoever, the Traffic Project Manager III coordinates contracts with the client, subcontractors, purchase orders, daily correspondence, and all other project related documents. This individual is responsible for all project financials, and reviews/manages/approves subcontractor payments. The Traffic Project Manager III clearly communicates updates to the client, management, and project team, as well as prepares for and attends monthly project review meetings with operations.

Additionally, the Traffic Project Manager III develops project specific health and safety plan in coordination with health and safety manager and communicates the plan with the project team, as well as monitors the plan. The professional in this role is responsible for verifying that projects meet required QA/QC compliance as determined by Quality Management Plan.

REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management or a related degree is required; Master's Degree preferred
  • MCPPO designation preferred
  • PE or equivalent professional license preferred
  • PMP and EIT certification preferred
  • Construction Supervisor license preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience required; a minimum of 5 years of project management experience required
  • Experience in TMC Operations Management required
  • Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required
  • Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
  • Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
  • Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and other management software
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • A self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and work well independently
  • Ability to travel as needed required
SALARY RANGE:

$130,000 - $140,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
