Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Cyber Security Analyst (HR Solutions and IPMS) to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. As a Cyber Security Analyst specializing in HR Solutions and Integrated Project Management Solutions (IPMS), you will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and confidentiality of our clients' HR data and project information systems. Leveraging your expertise in cybersecurity best practices and knowledge of HR systems and IPMS, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats to safeguard our clients' sensitive information and critical assets.
Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced security tools and technologies to continuously monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and other sources of security data to detect and respond to potential security incidents affecting HR solutions and IPMS.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on HR systems and IPMS infrastructure to identify weaknesses and proactively address security gaps.
  • Lead incident response efforts for security breaches or incidents affecting HR data or project information systems, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
  • Enforce security policies and procedures specific to HR solutions and IPMS, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs and awareness campaigns tailored to HR staff and project teams to promote a culture of security awareness and best practices.
  • Perform risk assessments and security audits of HR systems and IPMS environments to identify potential security risks and recommend appropriate controls and countermeasures.
  • Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions, to protect HR data and IPMS infrastructure.
  • Work closely with HR teams, project managers, developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to integrate security into HR processes and project lifecycles and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5 years of proven experience
Required Skills
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on HR systems and project management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and technologies, as well as IPMS concepts, architectures, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and penetration testing tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Desired Skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
  • Experience with specific HR software solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to HR data protection (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and tools.
  • Previous experience in the HR domain or working closely with HR departments.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience with secure coding practices and application security testing techniques.
Security Clearance
  • Eligible to obtain a security clearance.
