POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our finance team in the role of Associate Accounts Payable Administrator. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the field of accounts payable. The Associate Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounts Payable function and gaining valuable exposure to financial processes within the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Invoice Processing:
    • Assist in the accurate and timely processing of invoices.
    • Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices to ensure proper documentation.
  • Vendor Communication:
    • Correspond with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
    • Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors.
  • Expense Reporting:
    • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Verify receipts and supporting documentation for expense reimbursement.
  • Payment Processing:
    • Support the Accounts Payable team in preparing and processing payments.
    • Ensure adherence to payment schedules and terms.
  • Recordkeeping:
    • Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
    • Assist in the filing and archiving of financial documents.
  • Data Entry:
    • Enter financial data into accounting software with a high level of accuracy.
    • Assist in maintaining the integrity of financial records.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks:
    • Provide support for special projects and tasks as assigned by the Accounts Payable team.
    • Collaborate with other finance team members to achieve departmental goals.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of accounts payable.
  • Organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 0 - 1 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
  • Internship or coursework related to accounts payable is advantageous.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
