Job Description
General Description:
Working directly with internal customers in a prototype manufacturing machine shop environment to process request tickets from start to finish in a timely manner by providing fast turnaround times to our new and existing internal customers.
Delivering high quality, high valued machined products and components, including multipart subassemblies.
Able to work with small team of highly focused individuals with little supervision.

Essential Duties:
Receive new job assignment ticket and start processing per work instructions, which includes verifying the required fixture/tooling.
Using Cad models or Step files to generate CNC programs.
Machine parts to print.
Provide first article inspection reports using Keyence vision systems.

Required Skills:
2-5+ years of experience on manual and CNC machine tools
Able to read and interpret CAD models, blueprints/drawings, and
understand standard written work instructions.
Strong knowledge of GDT. Having a good work ethic is required.
Must communicate effectively with customers, coworkers and managers.
Must have good knowledge of material type alloys to calculate most efficient cutting methods, feeds and speeds

Required Education:
Must have High School diploma and or GED equivalent certificate. Machining trade school or college degree much desired.
MasterCam, SolidWorks 2022 certificates a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand periodically at machine, able to reach, squat, and carry up to 40lbs.
Able to perform daily service/maintenance on CNC equipment. Able to maintain a safe, clean and well organized work area at all times throughout the regular workday.

Special Requirements:
Must have own personal toolbox's. Including machinist measuring tools, various hand tools, etc.\
Must be a US citizen or US person.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $30.10 - $36.55 per hour + bonus + benefits.
