About the Position

Dexis is looking for Senior Project Associate candidates to support Stabilization's current portfolio. The Senior Project Associate will assist in the management of projects such as Dexis' USAID Central Europe Program - Role of Law Activity (CEP-ROLA) and proposals, and engage in day-to-day project activities, coordination, and administrative support in a flexible, dynamic work environment. The selected candidate is expected to communicate clearly and efficiently and will develop and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.

Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative, contractual, operational, and financial support to CEP-ROLA and other Stabilization Projects as needed.
  • Prepares payment requests, reviews financial transactions, and tracks project budgets, including data entry of financial transactions and project operational data for inclusion in reports or presentation materials.
  • Supports project managers in budgeting and forecasting for internal and external reporting.
  • Supports procurement efforts, subcontracts, subawards under cooperative agreements, and grants under contract.
  • Manages consultant for various project assignments including managing consulting agreements, supporting travel and logistics, and reviewing expense reports, invoices and processing payments.
  • Liaise and support the Field team to coordinate monitoring and payments of grantees.
  • Coordinates closely with project team(s) and internal support units, including Contracts, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, IT, and Recruiting teams.
  • Manages electronic files to ensure compliance with Dexis protocols and policies.
  • Edits, formats, and provides input as applicable to project reports for internal and external use.
  • Works to ensure compliance with Dexis processes, contractual requirements, and U.S. government regulations.
  • Helps to identify and resolve common problems, escalating and tracking more complex issues to their resolution.
  • In conjunction with HR, supports the onboarding and training of new PMU and project staff, including mentoring PMU staff on project management needs.
  • In conjunction with HR and the project team(s), supports recruitment and onboarding of project staff and consultants, including leading strategic recruits and communication with field teams on the status of personnel support.
  • Supports Dexis' business development efforts, including through desk research, writing, editing, coordinating proposal teams, recruiting, and contributing to budget development.
  • Travel to the field for administrative support as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, business, finance, or related field required.
  • 3+ years of work experience in international development, civil society strengthening, or relevant field.
  • Demonstrated prioritization, organization, planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; excellent writing, editing and research skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and concisely and to write for diverse audiences.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, show attention to detail, and work independently.
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure with diverse teams.
  • Experience supporting USAID contracts, cooperative agreements, and/or grants.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
  • Professional Fluency in English required.
