GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Leads cross-functional teams through the analysis, concept, development, and launch of wireless devices.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering or equivalent experience or Master's degree in related field preferred
10+ years of Experience in one or several of the following areas: Product Management, Product Engineering, Product Marketing or Strategic Planning
Comprehensive knowledge of consumer electronics, the wireless communications industry and new wireless technologies
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Effective organizational, negotiation skills
Strong leadership skills
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

Understanding of Managed Mobility Solutions
International business experience and understanding of the Japanese culture a plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Gathers, synthesizes, and communicates market requirements including technology roadmaps, competitive analysis, customer and consumer requirements and customer segmentation.
  2. Scopes and defines new product concepts, customer candidates and categories.
  3. Takes a leadership role in driving new technology inflection points into the product roadmap.
  4. Leads assessment and onboarding of new technologies for Managed Mobility Solutions and portfolio growth.
  5. Helps determine business case and product feasibility.
  6. Ensures product roadmap / portfolio supports corporate financial and market share objectives.
  7. Evangelizes new product concepts both internally and externally.
  8. Works with Engineering, Marketing and Sales to understand new technologies and how they will play across product portfolio.
  9. Works with Market Research on validating technology ramps, market analysis and impact to portfolio vs. competition.
  10. Works to understand carrier requirements at high level and impact to business case and product portfolio.
  11. Leads assessment and technical analysis of market information provide by market research group.
  12. Supports customer RFPs including roadmap information and content as well as technology roadmap.
  13. Engages and builds strong alliances with the senior management, Engineering, Marketing and Sales
  14. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Pay Range $ 83,000 to $133,000 annually
