The Facilities Engineer provides engineer support for the efficient operation of Sentry facilities, including coordination of building projects and maintenance services.

This role will be onsite at our Stevens Point, WI office.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and participate in the development, documentation and monitoring of various projects and operations of Corporate Services

  • Ability to be on-call rotation for afterhours Maintenance issues

  • Perform repairs and direct contractors in the repair and upgrade of electrical systems.

  • Read and understand technical drawings and blueprint designs to determine specifications, layouts and connection

  • Provide general and emergency electrical services.

  • Develop timelines for completion of projects within established target dates

  • Oversee major projects, and determine and document specific objectives and scope of project; including problem resolution options and alternatives, including cost estimates and project staffing needs

  • Provide cost estimates and analysis as requested by management for cost-benefit analysis (CBA) on large projects

  • Responsible to set and track all budget items he is responsible for. Blanket purchase requisitions and purchase requisitions, invoices approval and coding.

  • Acquire and maintain appropriate technical knowledge relating to assigned responsibilities

What it Takes:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum five years of related work experience

  • Ability to acquire and apply technical knowledge

  • Computer skills, including experience using various software applications and building management systems

  • Ability to meet the travel requirements of the position
