Job Description

As an Inside Sales Representative you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, closing profitable sales orders, and processing orders received. Responsibility includes reviewing orders received to ensure customer needs are met, following through on commitments of delivery of product or information required, and proper communication of information to customers and employees who are fulfilling the order.


Primary Duties:

  • Close orders and sell at profitable levels.
  • Reach sales and gross margin goals.
  • Create and maintain solid, long-term relationships with customers.
  • Assist and resolve customer requests and/or problems in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Work with Purchasing Department, account managers, quotations specialists, product champions, and other branch personnel to provide competitive quotations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A college degree is preferred.

  • Forklift experience a plus. Knowledge of electrical distribution, product applications, and sales experience preferred.
