The Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services is seeking a talented and motivated individual to serve as a Therapist in the Co-Responder program. MHSADS seeks a dynamic Behavioral Health Therapist to support a newly formed Co-Responder Program that specializes in crisis intervention and stabilization services in response to calls to 911 for a behavioral health crisis throughout Loudoun County, including to individual's homes. Co-Responder Program also provides follow up to individuals after a 911 call for a behavioral health crisis.
Master's degree; license eligible within one (1) year of hire or possess professional licensure through the VA Department of Health Professions Board as a: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC); Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT); Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP). Two (2) years of professional experience working with individuals who have a mental health and/or substance use diagnosis, which may include internship experience.
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing pre-employment background check to include fingerprinting, credit, NCIC, DMV and TB test. Must have a good driving record and a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence.
