Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Fire Life Safety (FLS) Technician responsible for inspecting fire extinguishers, running fire pumps, and supporting the FLS systems. This role involves inspections, audits, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, ultimately enhancing our organization's safety standards.

Compensation range for this position is $48,500-$63,300 annually!
Inspect fire extinguishers monthly to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Conduct maintenance checks, refill or replace fire extinguishers when necessary.
Run fire pumps every week to maintain functionality and readiness.
Test fire pumps for proper pressure, water flow, and operational reliability.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and maintenance activities.
Conduct visual and functional inspections of alarms, sensors, and other fire detection devices.
Assist in the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.
Coordinate and execute fire drills and evacuation procedures.
Provide assistance during fire incidents or emergencies, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Stay updated with the latest regulations and industry standards related to fire life safety systems.
Perform other FLS related tasks as assigned.
Overtime may be required
Call ins may be required
Overnight work may be required
Weekend work may be required
Available via cell phone 24/7

Interested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications.
Portable Fire extinguisher inspections
Recharge of portable fire extinguishers
Fire Pump Inspector Certification
NFPA 20 Certification
Relevant experience in fire and life safety management.
Proficiency in conducting inspections and audits, identifying hazards and assessing risk.

Desired experience and technical skills
