Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic HR Director to lead their Human Resources department. The HR Director will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align withbusiness objectives and promote employee engagement, retention, and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, and offboarding.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their growth and development.
  • Partner with department heads and senior leadership to understand their talent needs and develop solutions to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization and create a culture of belonging where all employees feel valued and respected.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations and stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in HR.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute workforce planning and talent management strategies to support business growth and expansion.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations and experience ensuring compliance in a complex regulatory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that drive business results and promote employee engagement and retention.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team and drive continuous improvement and innovation in HR practices and processes.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
