Responsibilities

We are Hiring! Our FDA program is looking for a Smart Hands Technician. This qualified individual will join our team of highly performing technicians.

What You'll Do:

Smart Hands Technician is onsite in the customer Data Center and is responsible for the following:

    Racking and stacking equipment
  • Patch cabling
  • Decommissioning equipment
  • Equipment swaps and disposal activities.
  • Will support troubleshooting hardware issues with remote admins, facilities management, site security, vendor and customer escorts
  • Inventory management and project engagement, as required.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with no degree
  • Hands on experience in a datacenter
  • Rack and stack physical servers, network devices, appliances, installation of patch cables, and decommission equipment
  • Troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, customer service and reliable team member
  • On site M-F 8-5 and bi-weekly On-call rotation for after hours support
  • Must be US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Public Trust clearance

Target Salary Range
$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
