As an Inside Sales Representative, your focus will be selling Agilent consumables and chemistries products to customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts, primarily through outbound telephone sales activities. In this role, you will focus on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing base of customers. You will carry an individual quota and sometimes an overlay quota.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex leads, qualify and nurture the leads to potential business opportunities

  • Utilizes Automated Sales Tools such as Qlik and SalesLoft to manage territory

  • Works on inside sales assignments with broadly defined objectives

  • Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization

Key Skills Include:

  • Management of your own sales funnel

  • Regular communication of deals, issues, and opportunities with Sales Management

  • Technical knowledge and communication skills when engaging customers

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or University Degree in Science Related Field; Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology

  • 2+ years experience in Inside Sales or equivalent

  • Maintain East Coast hours

  • Experience with outbound phone calls to engage customers in a sales capacity preferred

  • Knowledge of analytical instruments including chromatography and spectroscopy is a plus
